Make it Sparkle Challenge with Spellbinding Stamps

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Hope your preparations for Christmas are coming along nicely and you’re crossing things off both your Gift List and To Do lists and getting prepared for Jolly Saint Nick.

I’m here today to share the latest challenge at Spellbinding Stamps. Our theme for this challenge is Make it Sparkle.

Of course sparkle is a crafty girls best friend so I really had fun with this challenge. No need to tell me to add sparkle.

The Spellbinding Stamps image I’ve used for my card today is Edeline which is a beautiful mermaid stamp accompanied by her cute, furry seal friends.

I’ve colored Edeline with my Copic markers giving her a nice artic colored mermaid tail and coat. I’ve also given her some fun dip-dyed hair.  To add some sparkle to her I’ve used two different mediums; Wink of Stella Clear on her tail and Stickles glitter glue on the iceburg that Edeline is sitting on and also on the fur trim on her coat.

I’ve fussy cut my image and layered it up on several different festive and sparkly papers.

To add some embellishment I used some felt snowflakes and a shiny silver snowflake with some gems added.

For a finishing touch, I added the Joy sentiment which was an Anna Griffin die. I cut 3 of them and glued them together to make the sentiment a bit more dimensional.

This is such a fun challenge and perfect timing with Christmas right around the corner.
