All about ME!
Like most everyone, have a regular “9 to 5” job (the same one for 28 years) which basically pays for my crafting habit, fur-kids chew toys and hubby’s Star Wars collectables. In my free-time, between work and dog walks; I enjoy creating cards, tags, envelopes with paper, inks, die cuts, stamps and bling.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved art and paper. I remember being excited about making trips to the office supply store for work when I first started out because I loved to look at all the different papers, pens and markers they had. I love the texture of paper and the endless supply of colors. This was long before I knew anything about card making and the crafting communities out there. Soon my love of papers branched out into small rubber stamps, decorative craft punches and embossing powders and making basic cards and from there it has grown into a great hobby that is so much fun.
I love giving a custom made card to friends and loved ones and seeing the smiles that it brings to their face. That’s the moment when you see all the work and effort you put into making a card pay off. It’s a nice warm fuzzy feeling when someone tells you that your card made their day. Who doesn’t need more of that in their life, right?
This blog is a place where I plan to share my own creations with you (welcome your feedback), share what I’ve learned, showcase new products or techniques that I’ve come across, highlight stamp companies that I love, share die cutting tips for steel rule dies as well as electronic die cutting with the Cricut Explore and the Silhouette Cameo, sharing information about coloring and all things paper related.
