STAMPtember Spotlight: Merry Mix and Match with Dare 2B Artzy

Welcome, crafty friends! I’m thrilled to unveil today’s exclusive STAMPtember collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Dare 2B Artzy—introducing the Merry Mix and Match stamp set. This cheerful Christmas-themed collection is perfect for handmade cards, gift tags, and even DIY ornaments!

Project 1: Cabin Snow Globe Card

I kicked things off with a cozy cabin snow globe scene, colored using Sketchmarker Pro Alcohol markers and cut with coordinating dies. I layered it over Dare 2B Artzy’s Slim Mini Snowflake Die (Neenah 110lb cardstock) and a scalloped blue background. A second layer of snowflakes in glitter paper offset slightly adds a subtle shimmer. The snow globe is popped up with foam for dimension, and the sentiment, Shaking up some Cheer; is heat embossed for a crisp finish. I added a few sparkly blue gems to the snowflake centers for a finishing touch.

Project 2: Mini Truck Snow Globe Card

Next, I crafted a mini card featuring the truck carrying a Christmas tree inside a snow globe. Some tiny silver snowflakes stamped in the background add a wintry touch. I paired it with Dare 2B Artzy’s Nature Layer dies and Festive Prints 6×6 paper. Vellum leaves also cut from the Nature Layers die set peek out from behind the globe, and the “Merry Christmas” sentiment from Dare 2B Artzy’s new Special Delivery set finishes it off beautifully.

Project 3: Believe Ornament Gift Tag

For my final project, I created a festive gift tag using the Believe stamp and ornament topper. I ink-blended a circular background with Distress Oxide inks and embossed the sentiment in sparkly red glitter. A red cardstock layer and double-cut ornament topper add structure, while pink plaid paper and red foil strips dress up the tag. I added red bow made from ribbon to complete the look.
