Life is a beautiful ride

Hello and welcome crafty friends!

I am back today with another card from Dare 2B Artzy. This one features the Bike Bouquet stamp set.

I know I have said it many times, but I absolutely adore this release from Dare 2B Artzy. The Bike Bouquet reminds me of bicycles you see in Europe with baskets of flowers on the front and flower shops with the tall tins of flowers to purchase.  I love it! The images are perfect for making all kinds of cards and the seven sentiments in the set are full of encouraging words that are sure to uplift the recipient.

To start my card, I stamped and colored the bicycle image on Neenah 110lb Classic Crest cardstock in Solar White. Everything was colored with my Altenew alcohol markers. I chose a muted green for the bike and colored the flowers with very vibrant colors because I wanted them to pop off the card.

Next, I cut a piece of the Floral Elements paper with the green leaf background to 4 x 5 ¼.

On top of that, I layered the Botanical Background Die cut from some dark green cardstock. Using a paper pouncer, I pounced on some darker green ink to the outer edges of the Botanical Background piece to give it a bit more depth.

Using the 3 ¾ Oval Framelet die, I cut a piece of the blue gingham from the Secret Garden paper. On top of that I layered the strip of purple plaid from the edge of the Floral Elements paper. I adhered the strip down and trimmed the edge to match the oval. For the next layer, I added the next size Oval Framelet measuring 3 3/8 cut from solid blue cardstock leaving a bit of a border from the gingham.

Behind my ovals, I used the mid-size flag from the Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die. I cut a piece of the purple cardstock from the Picnic in the Park paper and trimmed the ends so that just the flags remain. I adhered those to peek out from behind my layered ovals.

I die cut the bicycle using the coordinating Bike Bouquet die and centered my bicycle onto the ovals with some dimensional foam.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Life is a beautiful ride sentiment and then I added one of the single flower stems right underneath the sentiment.

The sentiment was cut down to a strip and I added a piece of the blue gingham cardstock behind it. I colored the flower and popped the sentiment strip up with some dimensional foam.

As an added touch, I colored the butterfly and added it to the sentiment strip as well.

To add a bit of sparkle I added some ombre glitter drops to the centers of a few flowers and to my flagged cardstock.

I absolutely love how the bicycle turned out. It really pops against the dark green background and this card turned out perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’re inspired to check out the Bike Bouquet stamp and coordinating die set.

I will have links to all of the products used in today’s card listed below for your convenience.
