Hello Puppy!

Hello crafty friends!

I am back today with a quick and easy card featuring a Dare 2B Artzy digital stamp called Puppy Flower. I was browsing the Dare 2B Artzy online shop and saw that there was a digital stamp section, and this adorable Puppy image was in there and was begging me to color it.

While I am sure that most crafters prefer to use stamps and coordinating dies for their cards and scrapbook projects; Digital Stamps can be a great alternative and can help you stretch your craft supply budget since they have a great price point.

This Dare 2B Artzy digital stamp includes both .jpg files and .png files and includes the image I have colored for my card today as well as an additional flower border and a small set of two flowers.

As with most digital stamps, you can resize them to fit your project. For my card, I pulled my image into a word document and resized it to be about 3 ½ inches wide.

I printed my image onto 110lb cardstock using a laser printer. Since I printed the image with my laser printer, I was also able to foil my image using heat reactive toner foil in gold and my MINC Machine. Images that are printed on a laser printer can be foiled with Heat Reactive foil that is made for a hot laminator or MINC Machine. It’s a bit hard to show the foiling in pictures but you can see a hint of the gold here.

If you are not a fan of fussy cutting images, another option with digital stamps is that if you have access to something like a Brother Scan-n-Cut machine you can scan and cut the images out. This opens more possibilities for crafting with digital stamps.

For my cute little doggie and flowers image, I colored everything with my Copic markers being careful not to color over the foiled lines too much. Any alcohol markers will show up if you get them on the foil. I should have tried to foil the image after I had finished coloring but did not think of that at the time.

I used the Wavy Squares Framelet die to cut out my colored image and I also cut a larger piece of the plaid from the Autumn Leaves paper pack. It was funny that this paper coordinated with my choice of colors for my flowers in the image even though I did not plan it that way.

I also cut a card base from Neenah 110lb Solar White cardstock. My card base measured 4 ½ x 4 ½ so it is a nice square.

For my sentiments, I stamped the small HELLO from the Hello Sunshine stamp set on the outside with an orange ink. On the inside of my card, I stamped the Sending you a Little and the beautiful cursive, Sunshine from the same Hello Sunshine stamp set.

I added the colored image and Autumn Leaves paper cut from the Wavy Squares framelets to the card base with dimensional foam.

Currently, Dare 2B Artzy only has this one image in their digital shop online. I am hopeful that we will see more images in the future.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today. I have linked to all of the products used in today’s card below for your convenience.

Have a wonderful day!
