Dare 2B Artzy October Challenge

Hi All! It’s the first Sunday in a new month and that means that Dare 2B Artzy has a new challenge theme starting today. This month’s theme is FALL.

I have a fall themed slimline card today using the Mr. Moose from the Chrismoose stamp set and some leaves from the Foxy Greetings stamp set.

To start I cut some backgrounds from some of the Autumn Plaid Paper pack and some dark green and white cardstock from my stash using the Wavy Slimline Framelets die set from Dare 2B Artzy. I cut the largest wavy die with the plaid paper and then two largest slimline rectangle dies from my cardstock.

I stamped the adorable Mr. Moose with some Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black ink and colored with my Shinhan Touch alcohol markers and used the coordinating die to cut him out.

Next, I used the leaf stamps from the Foxy Greeting stamp set to create a subtle background using some Gina K Amalgam Ink in Whisper. This is a very light grey ink and I stamped it all over the white cardstock I cut from the Wavy Slimlines Framelets die.

For a bit of interest, I added some gold splatters to the dark green cardstock with a small paint brush and some gold shimmer spray I had in my stash.

Once finished, I die cut the largest fishtail flag die in the Wavy Slimline Framelets set from some dark orange cardstock in my stash. I stamped the sentiment Autumn Greetings with some embossing ink and heat set with some black detail embossing powder.

I added all of my layers of cardstock to my slimline card base made from 110lb Neenah cardstock using some score tape and some dimensional foam to pop up some of the layers.

For an added fall touch, I cut a bunch of leaves using the Fall Leaves die set using some of my cardstock scraps and some gold and copper foil cardstock for a bit of added interested. I used a scoring tool to add some embossed leaf veins to the paper.

I arranged my leaves along the bottom of my cardstock and up around the end and adhered them with some liquid glue.

For a bit of sparkle, I added some dark purple gems in different sizes to my card panel with some liquid glue as well.
