Makin’ Rainbows

I’m taking another class. This one is the Rainbow Maker class from Online Card Classes.com. I really enjoy these classes as I learn lots of new techniques and ideas on different ways to use inks, dies, stamps and stencils. I highly recommend the classes for crafty people of all skill levels.

Day 1 of the class there was a technique for inking an abstract rainbow background by Julie Ebersole. It looked like so much fun and the end result was AH-MAZE-ING! Of course I had to try.

Rainbow backgrounds

The one on the right is standard dye ink cubes from a variety of companies – it’s super vibrant. I may have gone overboard on the color – guess I was having fun. Then of course I had to try the Distress Oxide Inks on a black cardstock background. Love the look of that and it is so much fun!

Check out the class at Onlinecardclasses.com. You won’t regret it!
