Artzy Weekend Sneak Peek!

Hi All! Happy CHA “Creativation” weekend! Hopefully some of you are lucky enough to be attending CHA in Phoenix this weekend. If so, make sure you stop by the Dare 2B Artzy booth #1360. There are some show specials and some make & take demos for you to check out.

If you aren’t able to attend CHA and you’re like me you’re checking Facebook and Instagram regularly for pics and video of all the new “must haves” of the crafting world. I’ve already made a wish list of several items that I want, LOL!

Today I’m thrilled to get to give you a sneak peek of the the latest & greatest, Dare 2B Artzy stamps. This card features a butterfly and a small flower from the upcoming release Butterfly Inspiration. In this CAS card design, I paired one of the new butterflies and a flower from the set with the awesome Blooms Paper. They coordinate beautifully. I pulled a few colors from the paper and used them to color the butterfly and small flower with my Copics.

With the images colored, I fussy cut them out and set aside. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with a scalloped edge die. Once cut, I masked the edges of the cardstock along the scallop border; I was then able to sponge on a soft blue for the background. I added some subtle water droplets to my background as well.

Next, I placed my colored images that I’d fussy cut and popped them up on the white cardstock with some dimensional adhesive.  I kept my sentiment simple by die cutting the Be Transformed sentiment with a small banner die and adding some dimensional adhesive to the back. To finish, I added some green sequins that matched the green in the flowers from the Blooms Paper

I love these stamps, not just for the ways that you can be creative with the butterflies in the set, but also for the uplifting sentiments. You can’t help but create something inspired when playing with these (and all) Dare 2B Artzy stamps.

Dare 2B Artzy has some amazing new releases coming out! I think everyone’s going to love them. Keep an eye out on the Dare 2B Artzy blog all weekend for more sneak peeks from our other lovely DT ladies as there’s lots more inspiration to come.
