You Color my World
Hello and welcome!
Today I’m sharing a fun Easter card featuring the Color My World Stamp & Cut set from the Hero Arts Egg-stra Special Collection. The sweet bunny and chick images from the set are perfect for Easter and spring cards, but they can easily be used year-round for birthdays or just-because projects.

To get started, I colored several images from the set so I would have enough pieces to create three different cards. The images are quick and easy to color, which makes this set great for batch cardmaking.
For my background, I pulled a piece from my stash of watercolor scraps. I love saving backgrounds made with inks or watercolor because they’re perfect for future projects. The bold stripes on this one reminded me of a decorated egg, so I used the coordinating egg die to cut it into shape.

For the card layout, I used the Bow, Bell & Scallop die set from Spellbinders to quickly create layered panels using light pink cardstock from my stash as well as Spellbinders Lilac cardstock, and a small panel of 110 lb Neenah Solar White cardstock for my scene.
To ground the images, I cut a grassy border using the Landscape & Edges die from green cardstock. I also added a few small tufts of lighter colored grass using the tiny grass die from the Bunny Buddies die set with Peridot cardstock.
Next, I arranged the images to create a playful scene. The bunny on the ladder looks like it’s painting the stripes on the egg while a little chick checks out the spilled paint near the bucket. I added a few flowers for extra color—including one tucked into the bunny’s ear. My last chick ended up perched on top of the egg as if it’s supervising the entire Easter egg painting project!

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed “You COLOR My World,” then die cut it with the coordinating die and popped it up for dimension.
I love how quickly this card came together, and the fact that I was able to create three Easter cards using the Color My World Stamp & Cut set. It’s perfect for spring scenes and adorable bunny-themed cards all year long.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Tonya
