Pull & Reveal Holiday Magic with Dare 2B Artzy!

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog.

Today, I’m excited to share a project featuring a brand-new die set from Dare 2B Artzy: the Pull and Reveal Gift Card Holder. This die set includes everything you need to create a double-slider gift card holder. There are four dies in total—one main die that cuts a tri-fold base for assembling the holder, and three additional dies you can use to decorate and embellish it. These extra dies can also be used on their own; one is a tag shape that’s perfect for holiday gift tags.

The set comes with printed instructions as well as a QR code that links to a helpful video tutorial. Assembly is straightforward. You’ll need a zip-top bag (a thicker one works best, especially if your project will have bulk) and some strong double-sided tape like Scor-Tape. I used 1-inch Scor-Tape since my card holder included heavier cardstock, colored images, and a gift card tucked inside.

Once assembled, you simply pull from the top and the double slider reveals itself—there’s space to attach a gift card on the top panel and room for a message on the bottom. You can also decorate both the front and back of the holder.

For mine, I used stamped and die-cut images from the Up on the Rooftop set. I colored the sleigh and placed it over a piece of colorful snowflake paper from the Festive Prints 6×6 paper pack. Behind that, I added iridescent vellum and a few clay snowflakes for extra texture.

At the top of the slider, I used the tag die from the set, cutting it from red cardstock. The rectangular pull-out panel is cut from the red and green plaid paper, also from the Festive Prints pack—one of my holiday favorites from Dare 2B Artzy.

Next, I added the colored image of Dear Santa stuck in the chimney. I glued only the lower part of the image (his belt and pants) to the red tag, creating a little flap that holds the gift card. I attached the sentiment strip “Santa’s a Little Behind” with just a bit of glue where it overlaps the chimney.

For the bottom of the slider, I used more of the green plaid paper and added the “HO HO HO” and “Merry Christmas” sentiments cut with the coordinating dies from the Up on the Rooftop set.

The back of the gift card holder is another great place to add a stamped image or a scalloped rectangle panel where you can write a “To” and “From.”

The Pull & Reveal Gift Card Holder Die is such a fun and versatile way to give gift cards for any occasion.
