Holiday CArdmaking with Dare 2B ARtzy’s New Peace & Joy stamp Set
Today I am sharing two charming and easy-to-make Christmas cards using Dare 2B Artzy’s new Peace & Joy stamp and die set—perfect for mass production as the holiday countdown begins! I was motivated by the “90 days to Christmas” reminder on the local news this week. EEEEKK! Where did this year go?
To start, I stamped and colored the bell and stocking images with alcohol markers, then die-cut them using the coordinating dies.
I stamped the sentiments; “Peace & Joy” and “Merry Christmas” using Dare 2B Artzy’s Totally Black ink, then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder for a polished finish.
I cut multiple layers of the sentiment out to give it dimensional and added a final layer of foil cardstock in light blue and gold to create a sparkly drop shadow effect to elevate the look.
Using Dare 2B Artzy’s Rectangle Framelets and the Festive Prints 6×6 paper pack, I created layered backgrounds with pink and green plaid, snowflakes, glitter, and foil cardstock.
Adding a bit of dimensional foam gave depth to both the focal images and card layers.
These clean and embellishment-free cards are not only festive but could easily be adapted into creating gift tags with the same images. A great way to get ahead on holiday crafting!
The products used in today’s card will be listed and linked below for your convenience.
Have a wonderful crafty day!
