Sending Christmas Cheer

There is also a great sale going on now over in the Dare 2B Artzy shop with 20% off of everything! Now is a good time to get everything on your wish list or let Santa know to get it for you!
For my card today, I combined the Christmas Magic stamp set with all of the fun holiday images and the adorable snowman from the Snow Awesome stamp set. The Snow Awesome stamp was an Artzy
Clubhouse release earlier this year and is simply adorable. I stamped and colored several images from the Christmas Magic stamp set including the Christmas tree, two of the packages, 2 of the candy canes and one of the pinecone swag. Each image was colored with my Altenew Artist Markers and die cut using the coordinating die set.
To create a 3-D card I used the Horizontal Center Step die and a piece of 100lb blue cardstock cut to 5 ½ x 8 ½ and ran it through my die cutting machine. This provided the additional fold lines for me to score to create the 3-D look of this card.

The die set comes with every layering die that you need to build your card and also includes a die for the sentiment layer on the front bottom fold of the card.
For the focal image background, I used one of the patterned papers from the Winter Escape collection. I cut out a portion that had some trees and the deer in the background. I used the coordinating stitched square die that comes with the Horizontal Center Step die and cut it down. I added it to the scalloped square die cut from some of the Holiday Elements paper with the snowflake background.
To create a little ground for my colored images, I used a scrap piece of white glitter cardstock from my stash and cut it with the bottom of the scalloped square die so that the bottom would align with the background layers. Next, I used one of the Curve Slim line Border dies to cut a curve in the top portion of my scrap glitter cardstock. This will create the look of a snowdrift to ground my images.

Over my background, I added the stamped and colored Christmas tree with some dimensional foam and then placed my adorable little snowman with a couple of layers of dimensional foam to make it appear to be in front of the tree. I love that the position of the snowman makes it look like he’s adding some decorations to the tree.Isn’t it just so cute??!!
I layered the same snowflake background paper from the Holiday Elements paper pack to the sides and added some lighter blue cardstock on top using the coordinating dies. On each side I placed one of the colored candy canes and packages from the Christmas Magic stamp set. I decided to color these images with some bright, non-traditional colors for Christmas and it added a little pop of fun to the card as well.

For the sentiment on the front of my Horizontal Center Step card, I die cut more of the patterned paper as well as some light blue cardstock. In between these layers, I added an additional piece of matte foil cardstock in a dark blue. I thought the hint of darker blue foil cardstock would draw the eye down to the sentiment a bit since there’s a lot going on with my card.
On my top layer of light blue cardstock, I stamped the sentiment Sending Christmas Cheer your Way with Dare 2B Artzy’s Totally Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
Finally, I added the little pinecone swag image to the left of the sentiment.

I decided not to add any additional embellishments to my card today. However, I did use a Gelli Roll
Stardust pen to add some shimmery details to the Christmas tree, snowman and even the snowcapped mountains on my background paper.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are inspired to create some 3D Holiday projects using some Dare 2B Artzy products!
I will have all of the products used linked below for your convenience.
Hugs,
Tonya
