Getting Boo-jee for Halloween!
Hello and welcome back crafty friends!
We have entered spooky season with the start of October, my favorite month of the year! I have a fun new card today for Halloween!
There is a video for this card over on my YouTube channel as well if you would like to see how this card comes together.
The card I am sharing features a newer line of products on the stamping/die cutting scene, This Calls for Confetti. I believe they have been making sequins and photopolymer clay bits for crafting to make shaker cards for some time now. However, their line of stamps, dies and stencils is newer and they have some fantastic designs. I will link to their store below so you can check them out.
The stencil and die combo I am using today is called Boo-Jee Pumpkin. It is an incredible 8 piece layering stencil that creates a gorgeous dimensional pumpkin that is perfect for all of your Halloween or Fall card projects. Don’t let all of the stencil layers intimidate you with this set, it is very easy to follow and is pretty forgiving if you make a mistake along the way.

I am not going to go into too much detail but I simply ink blended Distress Oxide inks in Salvaged Patina, Cracked Pistacio, Shaded Lilac and Wilted Violet into Neenah 110lb cardstock.
When the ink blending was completed I added the black stripes from the stencil layer using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.
The pumpkin was die cut out using the coordinating die set.
My background panel was created from the Taylored Expressions Spider Web Foil it Panel. I used some Blueberry foil on the Spiderweb panel and ran it through my Fuse on a setting of 3. When finished, I ink blended on some Wilted Violet, Cracked Pistacio and Black Soot around the outer edges.
I shopped my crafty stash to pull out my Pretty Pink Posh, Halloween Mug Additions to create the boom, moon and stars.
Finally the “boo” sentiment layering die is also from Pretty Pink Posh.
I popped my background panel up with some dimensional foam onto a scalloped background made from Taylored Espressions Black Licorice cardstock.
That’s it, a fun Boo-jee Halloween card that came together really quickly.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and are inspired to try out the Boo-jee Pumpkin from This Calls for Confetti.
Links to all of the products I have used in today’s card are listed below for your convenience.
Hugs,
Tonya
