A Simple Hello
Hello and welcome!
I have been playing with the Bicycle Bouquet stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy and I have a fun new card to share with you today.
To start my card, I stamped and colored the bicycle, flower bundle, 3 of the long flowers, two flower buckets all from the Bicycle Bouquet set and 1 butterfly from the Beautiful Inside stamp set.
I colored everything using my Altenew Artists Markers and cut all of my images out using the coordinating die.

To start my card, I lightly stenciled a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of paper with some clouds using tumbled glass. I covered about 2/3 of the paper and set it aside.
I created a 1/2 inch frame using the Rectangle Framelets dies that I cut from some mint green cardstock. I added some Cracked Pistacio and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink to the edges and adhered over the panel with the clouds.
I wanted some greenery in my background. I thought that the Botanical Background die would be perfect. I cut it from some green cardstock and then trimmed away the pieces I didn’t need since I just wanted to cover the left side of my background and the top edge.

For the pieces of greenery in the very back, I blended on Pine Needles and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink using a detail blending brush which gives them a nice shadow. This piece was placed on the left side of my card and some of the leaves were popped up with small dimensional foam circles and the rest was adhered with glue.
The main section I cut from the Botanical Background covered the entire left and top of my card. I ink blended on some Rustic Wilderness and Mowed Lawn using more detail blending brushes. I added more dimensional foam circles to the leaves that were towards the center of the background and liquid glue around the edges and again adhered this layer along the left edge and top of my background.
Using the Curve Slimline Borders die, I cut a piece of kraft cardstock to create a little hillside border for the bottom of the card. I added some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink along the bottom and added some dot details to create pebbles, rocks with my alcohol markers. I added it to the bottom of the background with a bit of liquid glue.

In order to get the bicycle to fit, I cut it down just behind the seat. I added it to the left edge of my card with some liquid glue and then placed double foam tape behind the tire and basket to make it pop up.
I cut a 1/4 inch frame from the checkered side of the Bright Blooms paper pack. I added the frame to the background with some liquid glue and tucked it under the bicycle tire to give it more depth.
For the flowers, I adhered the cluster of flowers to one of the tin buckets. For the other bucket, I cut a slit in the front edge of the top with an Xacto knife so that I could slide the taller flowers into the pot. I did have to trim down the flowers a bit, but I added the trimmed off pieces to the other flower pot as sprigs behind the flowers. When I had all 3 flowers slid down into the slit in the top of the pot, I glued them in place and held them with my reverse tweezers until they were dry. Both of the flower pots were added to the lower right edge of my card. I did add a bit of dimensional foam to the pot in the front.

I added a little butterfly just above my flower pots and I popped it up with some small dimensional foam.
For my sentiment I stamped, A Simple in black and the Hello in a magenta ink and die cut them out using the coordinating die from the Bicycle Bouquet stamp set.
I added all of my glued together layers into a horizontal side folding A2 Card base made from 110lb Neenah Solar White Cardstock.

For a hint of shimmer, I used a Gelly Roll Stardust pen on the spokes of the bicycle tire and on the flower pots label and a bit in the taller flowers.
Thanks so very much for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed my card today. I have provided links to all of the products used in today’s card for your convenience.
