Dare 2B Artzy Peace, Love & Joy Holiday Card
Hello crafty friends! Welcome back to my blog.
Today I have a new card featuring the Poinsettia Basket stamp and die set from Dare 2B Artzy. I love the poinsettia basket. It’s perfect if you are in the mood to color and makes for a beautiful card.
To start, I cut several strips of cardstock in red, dark green and also some of the new Dare 2B Artzy paper from the Home for the Holidays paper pack. I love the variety of papers in this holiday paper pack.
Once I had quite a few strips, I arranged them by alternating the solid cardstock with two strips and then one strip of each of the patterned cardstock. When I was satisfied with the pattern, I glued them onto some scrap red cardstock and the excess paper was trimmed off.

When the glue on the background was dried, I trimmed it down to 4 x 5 1/4.
Next, I used the new Oval Framelets dies to cut one oval from some matte gold cardstock I cut a second smaller oval from some Neenah Solar White cardstock.
For the second oval that I cut from the Neenah cardstock, I put it into my MISTI and stamped the Poinsettia Basket stamp set once I had it centered onto the cardstock.
Once the image was stamped, I colored the Poinsettia Basket with the lovely poinsettias and greenery with my Sketch Marker Brush Pro alcohol markers. It is such an easy image to color so the coloring goes pretty quickly.

I added a bit of Sakura Jelly Roll Stardust pen to the center of the poinsettias and on the basket for a bit of shimmer.
The oval with my colored Poinsettia Basket image was added to the matte gold oval that I had previously cut with a bit of dimensional foam and then adhered onto the card background with some additional dimensional foam.

For my card sentiment, I used the Peace, Love & Joy sentiment stamp which was stamped with some embossing ink and heat set with some Ranger Distress Embossing Glaze in Rustic Wilderness. The dark green was a perfect choice to pair with my festive background.
Using the coordinating die from the Poinsettia Basket set, I die cut the sentiment and then cut several more blanks from some white scraps of cardstock to use to add a bit of dimension to my sentiment. I glued all of the layers together and then added it to the front of my card.
I added some matte gold pearls from my stash to the background for some added interest.

That finished up my card for today. I hope you have enjoyed this simple holiday card featuring the Poinsettia Basket stamp set.
All of the supplies used in today’s card will be linked below for your convenience.
