Scandinavian Inspired Christmas CArd

Since we are still in a festive mood over at Dare 2B Artzy with the Home for the Holidays release, I thought I would create another Christmas card using an older non-Christmas stamp set paired with some newer releases.

I cut 110lb Neenah Solar White cardstock to 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 using the Dare 2B Artzy Rectangle Framelets die set.
I stamped the smaller bird from the Joyful Robin stamp set with Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black Ink.

Next, I framed the robin with the garland stamp from the brand-new Cozy Fireplace set by stamping it on all 4 sides of the robin.
Going for a Scandinavian theme, I colored the images using Artfinity Alcohol markers keeping the colors to red, teal blue and pink – some non-traditional colors for Christmas.
After the images were colored, I traced around all of the images with a cool grey marker to give it a hint of a shadow and added some white Jelly Roll pen details.
For the outside sentiment, I used the From Our Home to Yours which was stamped and die cut using a sentiment strip.

The card panel was added to a piece of Holiday Stripe paper cut to 4 x 5 ¼ using the largest Rectangle Framelets die.
For a bit of sparkle and shine, I added some glitter drops with some liquid glue to the bird and the bow centers on the garland.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment Merry Christmas from the Season to be Jolly stamp set.
